Shirt Trends - Ribcage
Welcome back to another installments of shirt trends, where I spend my free time tabulating shirt designs that follow a similar theme. This time, we'll delve into the ribcage motif. It's interesting to see an anatomical design on a shirt. The idea of wearing something your skin keeps in just blows my mind.
Some say the Misfits popularized the ribcage on a tee concept.
Waffo has one that is similar to The Misfits but theirs have a pelvis. Take that aging rockers!
Smell Your Mum is a rude little site. A little like Hot Topic but harder. They sell ribcage shirts because it's hardcore. Like freebasing.
On the other hand Lazy Oaf showcase their own brand of hardness by printing their ribcage... in pink. Take that hardcore!
Frank Barbara ups the ante by including a canary within the confines of the rib cage. It's very poetic but also very difficult to bring down a mineshaft.
But it's always bes to return to the basics. Take the progenitor of the anatomical tee. The artist, Dr. Arwin

The Persistence of Dali
Surrealism is synonymous with Salvador Dali. He painted The Persistence
of Memory and The Temptation of St. Anthony, paintings, which endured
during his life and long after his death in 1989. But nothing called so
much attention as the man himself, especially that rocking 'stache.
Boston lads, theAnti printed a shirt in tribute to the Great Master. If you're really into Dali, you'll know about his fascination and fear of the little critters.

create a festival on one of your body of work. Case in point: Lebowski Fest,
where Lebowski aficionados can gather in the guise of their favorite
characters from the film, where they can bowl or drink white Russians...
maybe bowl while drinking white Russians (bowling + alcohol = fun fun
fun!)
If you can't make it to their festivals, you can always buy the merch to prove to your other friends you were there.

It's one thing to hear a girl say she fucks like her gender but it's
another thing when she wears that proclamation proudly.
